The Trials and Tribulations of the Ruffnecks

Like most gangs, when news reached the various holes and settlements that a new tunnel had opened up and the archeotech rush was on, the Ruffnecks were not going to be left behind. They saw a chance the raid a pillage their way to fame and fortune.

Sadly, riches and pillaging have yet to come. On a group excursion looking for lost tech or anything they might sell, they happened upon the Blond Bombers. Seeing their fair skin, and lovely hair, they expected easy pickings. Charging across the hive they met with stiff resistance. Helen Heavy opened up with her heavy stubber, and sent poor Stash to the hell that awaits all denizens of the underhive. Seeing the writing on the wall, the Ruffnecks were forced to head home and lick their wounds.

On the way back, they stopped in Sumpfield. The Blond Bombers were there too and they faced off against one another in the streets. While the Ruffnecks went for there guns first, the Blond Bombers were sent packing by a couple of quick shots. Julie Jet was shot in the head, and she just ain't right now. Word is, if she isn't drooling, she is one crazy bitch. On their way out of town they stopped into the Trading post to see what was what. They happened across a ratskin map, or so they thought. Sadly it was a fake, if not a plant, by the Lucky Ladies.

Eager to find what riches lie at the end of the map, the Ruffnecks ran off to get them. That was when the Lucky Ladies opened fire in a death trap of epic proportions. The good news is, Hunter, Stash's best friend, had only to mourn for a short time, since he too was shot and killed.

Though things have not started well, I would not be surprised to see the Van Saar boys come around, and start doing some real damage.

Next Meet Up

The next gathering will be Saturday, September 11th at 1:00 P.M.

For the next gathering be sure to have two copies of your roster, so that your opponent has one to look at while he is playing you.

Also, if is possible, and you are able, mark the base of each model so that your opponent can tell which model is which in your roster. For example, a simple number on the front and back of the base. We had plenty of non-standard models, which is fine, but in some cases this made for very difficult identification. Additionally, the less anonymous the model, the more fun it will be for everyone.

Hopefully each model in your gang is one you will be attached to as something more than just another figure.

We will probably have a brief discussion of some rules as well before we get things rolling, so if you have any questions that would be a good time to bring them up.

It is in the books

Thanks so much to all that attended the First meeting of the Sumpfield Settlement campaign.

We had very large turn out and plenty of variety.

Everyone got in at least two games, and I believe everyone had a good time. I am hoping to see everyone again for another round of games.

Within a day or two I expect that everyone will get an email from me talking about next time.

Also, I will post some requests for next time here on the site and through e-mail within the next couple of days.

New Battle Bunker Arrival Time

I will be a bit later than expected. I expect to be there around 1:00-1:15.

One of the gang leaders needs a ride.
